The NVQ L3 in Learning and Development is an ideal award for any person looking for a flexible qualification that can be tailored to meet their needs.

Designed for those that are new training and development it helps learners to understand how to structure training programmes in a variety of work based scenarios.

Learners must complete all 7 mandatory units plus 2 optional units from group A and two units from group B.

Mandatory Units

Group A – Optional Units

  • Enable learning through presentations
  • Enable learning through demonstrations and instruction
  • Enable individual learning through coaching
  • Enable group learning

Group B – Optional Units

  • Assess candidates using a range of methods
  • Assess candidates’ performance through observation
  • Support learners by mentoring in the workplace
  • Support and advise individual learners
  • Support competence achieved in the workplace
  • Support how basic skills are delivered in the workplace
  • Support people learning basic skills in the workplace
  • Design learning programmes
  • Prepare and develop resources to support learning
